Never thought I would hear the world “existentialism” with regards to the beautiful one: Beyonce.
She does remind me that I would much, much rather be rich than famous.
Lynne Spreen says
Oh, boy, amen to that last thought. I often felt it would be horrible to be Tiger Woods, or the President, or any person who just wants to ride a bike or get a coffee at Starbucks without being noticed or bothered. Actually, this is why I love the idea of older women (myself, anyway) being “invisible.” To some extent I believe it’s true, and I love it! But Beyonce and Angelina both surprise and impress me with their intellect. I guess my prejudice was that they were too beautiful and their images crafted too sexually to be considered bright. My bad.

It is uplifting to realize that famous people share our inner feelings. We do tend to view them more as objects because of their fame. But they are humans, and have feelings like the rest of us.
Lynne Spreen says
Judy, I know fame is what they seek, but what must it feel like to be them? Very objectifying, esp. for the women. PS a lot of the soundtrack is so weirdly dreamlike…eerie and almost sad. Very profound statement from this young woman.

WOW! She is a well put together young woman. Smart, thoughtful and always will be who she believes she can be.
Thanks so much for sharing this Lynne.

I felt a little sad that I won’t live to see her become a very old woman. She is special.
